Anton's story
From an early age, I had one clear ambition. To become a pilot. Every decision I made was shaped by that goal.
I went on to study Aerospace Engineering at Coventry University, with the intention of becoming a fighter pilot in the RAF. After leaving the RAF, my plan was to pursue a career as an airline pilot. However, the reality of funding the required licences, costing around £100,000, meant I needed to rethink my next steps.
That's when I unexpectedly found myself in fundraising. What I initially saw as a short term role quickly became much more than that. I joined a great team, was constantly learning, and was surprised by how rewarding and well compensated the work was. Although I never imagined it would become a career, it opened my eyes to opportunities I hadn't considered before.
Shyla's story
I started when I was 21, raising a six year old boy on my own. From that moment, work wasn't optional, it was everything.
My background was banking. I spent two years as a cashier at HSBC, and in the mix of it all I worked hospitality too, including the hospitality boxes at Manchester United's ground.
Then, almost by accident, I applied for a sales role and everything changed.
I fell in love with the environment and, more than anything, the people. I saw ambition around me. I saw goals, aspirations, drive. I felt inspired. So I stayed and I've been building ever since.

No experience needed. Just great energy and a desire to make a difference. Full training, uncapped earnings, and a team that becomes family.
